TITLE:  SERVICE ASSURANCE IT NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

The IT Network Administrator is primarily responsible for supporting Soleo’s data networks and related systems. The role will encompass a broad range of functions including IP network set up, monitoring, troubleshooting (networking, hardware, and software), security, etc. Secondary responsibilities will include administration of IT software systems and end user support.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain network resources
-Hardware
-Internal wiring
-Employee VPN  & VPN connectivity to third parties
-External connectivity to Internet, customers, etc.
-Firewalls & security

Maintain related software services
-Network monitoring and notifications
-Network security

Maintain user PCs, servers, and related devices
-Windows, LINUX, MAC operating systems
-Antivirus protection and recovery mechanisms
-Hardware

Support of lab hardware and infrastructure
Complete lifecycle management of IT assets
-Requirements review & research assistance
-Equipment tracking/inventory & retirement

Drive continuous improvements in IT (infrastructure, tools, process, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

BS in Network Administration or related field
1 to 3 years’ experience
Experience supporting internal network and production network systems
Experience supporting users of all technical levels
Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
Ability to write clear and concise documentation
Willing to travel on occasion

Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time and manage tight deadlines
Ability to proactively follow-up on open and unclear items
