The Director of Network Infrastructure & IT is primarily responsible for supporting Soleo’s users, internal systems, and data networks. The role will encompass a broad range of functions including maintenance of domain resources, corporate systems, end user software, backups, IP network set up, troubleshooting (hardware, software, and networking), security, etc. This is a hands-on position with occasional mentoring of junior team members in best practices as well as working closely with executives both in person and through other forms of communication.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain software services
Maintain network resources
Foresee potential infrastructure issues and implement preventative measures
Determine the company’s long-term system needs
Establishes and maintains all aspects of telecommunication systems
Identify emerging information systems and telecommunication system technologies and recommend strategies for enhancing the company’s infrastructure.
Support internal and external partners
Successfully foster and maintain vendor relationships
     Manage contract negotiation in a proactive fashion
Support of lab hardware and infrastructure
Complete lifecycle management of IT assets
Drive continuous improvements in IT (infrastructure, tools, process, etc.)
Maintain security of all data proprietary to the company
Perform necessary projects to achieve the organization’s mission
Willing to travel on occasion

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
BS in Computer Science, Network Administration or related field
Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience
Experience supporting internal network and production network systems
Experience supporting users of all technical levels
Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
Ability to write clear and concise user documentation

Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time and manage tight deadlines
Ability to proactively follow-up on open and unclear items
Complete work with a high level of accuracy and able to quality check own work

Ability to communicate effectively across various functions and disciplines, including at the executive level
