Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer serves in a key role ensuring a high level of quality for all aspects of Soleo’s products.  The ideal candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills combined with a strong technical acumen. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to, ownership of Soleo’s end-to-end lab reference system, preventing defects from infiltrating field installed software and authoring QA use cases.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides defect free software to CSTO for field installation
Interfaces with development resources throughout the software development cycle
Ownership of QA lab integration system including administration, configuration and running test suites
Authors test plans which eventually become requirements for automated QA processes
Tests suites including functional, regression and load testing
Defines and monitors quality measurements for Soleo products
Works with development teams to define quality processes
Responds to customer issues for all Soleo products
PerformS necessary projects to achieve the organization’s mission

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

BS or BA degree in related field
Minimum of 5 years experience in similar areas, 10 years preferred
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Sound understanding of current computing technology and hardware
Knowledge of QA best practices
Linux and Windows system administration
TCP/IP and SIP
Rudimentary hardware trouble shooting acumen
Experience in server and hardware configuration 
Experience managing server hardware maintenance
Understanding of Agile software development a plus
